Former BSCS Project Director James Robinson Passes Away

BSCS recently learned of the passing of James T. Robinson, 89, who died at an assisted living center in Denver on 18 February. Dr. Robinson was well-respected in the field of biology and science education.

Dr. Robinson served as Project Director at BSCS in Bouder, beginning in 1969. As described in the obituary, James "specialized in creating science courses for disabled children, developing ways to use drawings for testing so that reading skill was not needed. Over the years he authored and contributed to five books on science education and wrote many papers published in science and education journals."

BSCS greatly appreciates the significant contributions of Dr. Robinson.
